Afsaneh is the founder and creative force behind Narenj, where design, culture, and food come together in a warm and thoughtful way. With a background in interior design, she sees every space as something that should feel personal, inviting, and full of character.
When she created Narenj, it started as an ordinary, outdated space. Afsaneh reimagined it completely—designing every detail herself and turning it into the welcoming, elegant environment it is today. For her, it was never just about opening a café, but about creating a place where people feel comfortable, inspired, and at home.
Her approach to food is just as personal. Growing up Iranian, many of the flavours at Narenj are inspired by the ones she remembers from her childhood. She brings those familiar tastes in an avant-garde presentation while keeping their essence intact.
At its heart, Narenj reflects Afsaneh’s belief that both spaces and food should make people feel something. It’s not just about how things look or taste—it’s about the feeling you leave with.
